Key Features
  • It integrates cash assistance with delivery and post-delivery care The Yojana has identified ASHA, the accredited social health activist as an effective link between the Government and the poor pregnant women
  • Rs. 600/- / Rs. 700/- by cheque is given to pregnant women to promote institutional delivery in case she is a resident of Urban / Rural area
  • In case of pregnancy related emergencies including delivery. DFW has tied up with CATS Ambulance for this purpose. If the pregnant woman or any of her family members dial 102 then CATS ambulance reaches to her residence and transport her to nearest Govt. hospital where facilities for delivery or pregnancy related complications can be handled. This service is available round the clock irrespective of BPL / APL / SC / ST category.
Eligibility Criteria

Woman should be above 19 yrs. of age and should belong to SC / ST / BPL category. The benefit is available for first two live births
How to Apply?
  • The pregnant woman must bring with her the JSY-MCH card and referral slip issued by medical staff of the Government institution/accredited private institution who have conducted 3 Ante Natal Check Ups. CDMO/CMO/Superintendent have to make necessary arrangement for this purpose
  • In urban areas where ANM is not available, proof in support of receiving 3 ANC Check-Ups, Immunization of TT-2 / Booster from any registered medical practitioner (Government/private) will be accepted for cash assistance under JSY. The referral slip will be retained by the head of the institution, where delivery
